Before she could craft a heroine with words, Stephanie Brown had to learn what it took to become one, battling dyslexia to become a blue-ribbon award-winning writer and published author.
A Missouri native, she's a constant champion for the underdog, a proponent for human rights and the humane treatment of humans and animals.
As an indie-author growing up closely with musicians, she learned the pain-staking day-to-day it takes to practice one's art and to keep the bills at bay, even if it means taking on a side job or two...or three.
She currently lives in Missouri with her dog, Munchkin, her cat, Clara, and a dozen or so dead bodies buried in her soon-to-be-published works.
